Global Forgiveness Movement

About Our Partnership

The Global Forgiveness Movement (GFM) is an initiative of the Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University that promotes evidence-based forgiveness interventions to make the world a more loving and forgiving place. In its programming, the GFM centers Dr. Everett Worthington’s REACH Forgiveness workbook and its continued demonstrations of efficacy toward improved mental health outcomes.

As part of its advocacy mission, the GFM facilitates group workshops where individuals work through the forgiveness process in community, guided by the REACH workbook. The GFM also trains community leaders to host their own forgiveness groups and helps people and organizations develop forgiveness campaigns, which include speaking engagements, book discussions, social media challenges, and more.
